Mother Nature delivered a couple strong punches to Central Hudson and others during the first week of March. On March 2nd, Winter Storm Riley brought heavy, wet snow and high winds to Hudson Valley, and five days later on March 7th, Winter Storm Quinn delivered more of the same to Central Hudson’s service territory and beyond. Riley interrupted electric service to more than 2.5 million customers across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic region, with Quinn impacting over 1 million customers.
